SunTek Enterprises is a turnkey indoor and outdoor DAS solutions provider. We consult, design, build, commission and test systems across the full spectrum - from a single BDA to 50 node public venues. We are committed to find a solution to your organizations’ needs, and to making the project a success.
Using the latest RF engineering tool sets, and coordinating with the carriers, our highly experienced team of DAS engineers will develop a tailored solution for your property. Whether it's In-Building only, or a combination of iDAS and oDAS, our team of skilled engineers will develop a solution to provide coverage where you need it.
Carrier coordination is key to a successful installation. SunTek Enterprises ' experience and carrier relationships ensures that your installation will be approved by the carriers.
Delivering solutions using equipment from CommScope/Andrew, Corning Optical Communications (formerly MobileAccess), TE Connectivity, SOLiD and Dali Wireless, SunTek Enterprises Technologies' certified engineers ensure that your project delivers the data, voice calls and information critical to your operations.
- Consulting
From the initial site walk through optimization, our team will consult with you to establish the correct parameters for your installation. - Design
Coordination with the carriers is the key to a successful DAS installation. Our engineers ensure that your system meets or exceeds the carriers specs. - Installation
Using only trained and certified technicians, our installation team prides itself on expert craftsmanship and results.
Active DAS
An active DAS uses fiber-optics to move the signals long distances before going into coaxial or Category 6 cable for the final transmission. This type of system (often called a hybrid-fiber DAS) is broadband, scalable and extremely flexible.- Large venues and campus environments
- Fiber Optic backbone
- Multiple carriers
- Multiple signal sources
- Managable
Passive DAS
In a passive DAS, coaxial cable distributes the Radio Frequency (RF) signals from a base station or repeater. Splitters are then used to divert a fraction of the RF energy along the horizontal floors of the building via coaxial cabling.- Smaller venues
- Typically a single carrier
- Copper-based cabling
Small Cell
Small Cells is an industry buzzword which may be used to describe any cellular infrastructure that is not mounted on a typical, tall macro tower. Small cells may refer to self-contained indoor or outdoor coverage solutions – typically with limited frequencies and operators. Small cells may also refer to RF sources smaller than full cellular base stations, which may be used to provide RF signal to ODAS, IDASs or even macro sites.Wireless Network Operators have repeatedly stated that deploying small cells that in numbers into the tens of thousands are a part of their network densification plans. However, small cells come with problems which the industry is working to overcome: network management challenges to wireless network operators, limited mobility, usability and coverage. The consensus around small cells is that they have a future in the cellular heterogeneous network ecosystem, but that their role is still being refined and perfected.
